The Inn Between Code of Conduct

The Inn Between is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where all participants can enjoy their time while feeling safe and respected.

1. Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment:
We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or any form of offensive behavior based on age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or any other protected characteristics. All players must treat each other with respect and courtesy.

2. Conduct Expectations:
All participants, including players, Game Masters, and Moderators, are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct to maintain an atmosphere of enjoyment and safety for everyone at our events.

3. Respectful Behavior:
Participants must conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the enjoyment and safety of others. This includes refraining from the use of excessively vulgar, sexual, or overly mature language and themes.

4. Leadership and Rules:
Respect the Game Master's or Moderator’s guidance and avoid disputes over rules with the GM, Moderator, or fellow Players.

5. Communication Etiquette:
Listen actively and avoid talking over other players. Refrain from excessive cross-talk that is unrelated to the game in progress. Allow others the opportunity to interact with the Players, Game Master, or Moderator.

6. Responsible Social Media Use:

We do not tolerate the use of social media for bullying, shaming, or intimidating fellow players.

7. Cancellation Policy:
Players are expected to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made on the day of the scheduled event will not be provided with a refund.

8. Phone Etiquette:
Refrain from excessive phone use. When other players or the GM is talking, it’s disrespectful to be looking at your phone. Do not engage in phone conversations at the gaming table. If you must take a call, please excuse yourself from the table until your call is completed.

9. Theft.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for theft.

10. Aggressive Behavior:
Aggressive behavior, which includes threats of or actual physical aggression, use of offensive slurs, or harassment, will lead to immediate removal from the event and premises.

11. Reporting Concerns:
Participants who feel they are in an unsafe environment should promptly inform the Game Master or Moderator. Those who observe disruptive behavior are encouraged to address it with the individuals responsible. If uncomfortable doing so, participants may notify the Game Master or Moderator.

12. Problem Players:
The Inn Between reserves the right to request a player to leave the table, to maintain the safety and enjoyment of the game for all participants. The Inn Between will endeavour to offer an explanation for a player’s removal, but is not obligated to do so. The decision is final and non negotiable. We do not operate a strike system.

13. Reporting Harassment:
Any participant who feels harassed, bullied, or uncomfortable for any reason at our events should seek out the Game Master or Moderator to address their concerns.

14. Security:

If you have been asked to leave the table by a Game Master or Moderator, and you fail to do so, The Inn Between reserves the right to ask security to remove you from the premises.

15. No Ticket, No Entry:

Failure to provide a valid ticket, will mean The Inn Between can deny you access to an event.
